Madras Checks: Dusty Pastel

A softer take on the unmistakable Madras check.

Dusty Pastel brings the familiar grid into a quieter palette of faded greens, muted blues, warm rose and earthy terracotta. The softened colours give the checks a gently weathered, sun-faded character—familiar, but with a distinctly softer mood.

Each piece is handcrafted from Thandar’s Garden’s clay composite, made with clay, paper pulp and wood powder. The surface is finished with a protective weather-resistant coating, giving the pieces a smooth, glossy finish while helping protect the artwork from everyday wear.

The set includes a pair of oval earrings and a coordinating rectangular pendant, designed to be worn together or separately.
