The design is deliberately simple: a tiny painted medallion for everyday wear, where the beauty comes from the colours, the borders and the subtle variations of the handmade surface rather than from elaborate ornamentation.
Handcrafted from a clay composite - clay, paper pulp and wood powder- each stud has its own natural variations in colour and texture. It is finished with a protective, weather-resistant coating that gives the surface a smooth, glossy finish while helping preserve the artwork.
